Mission
- •Implementing and managing the National Hub for payment and electronic financial transactions systems on a modern, and sophisticated technological bases and scalable/expandable in future as well. Absolutely it must be in international standards compatibility for the integration with regional and international financial institutions; such as Western Union, MasterCard, Visa, Swift, … etc. and which has the following specifications: Security, safety, efficiency, integration with the international standards, interoperability, continuity, accessibility and handling, and inclusiveness.
- •Achieving the unified digital money principle to support the Central Bank of Yemen in the latest standards offinancial monetary policy, and managing liquidity to support the national currency as well.
- •Supporting the national economy by providing high quality, convenient, easy-to-use, safe, and secure financial / banking services to be accessible by most of society segments, including the disadvantaged and poor class through a variety of innovative and technological application channels that are available 24/7.
- •Harmonizing and unifying the national electronic payment regulation and building a strong, shared and widespread network of agents and POS involving banks, moneychangers, merchants, dealers, telecom sector and others.
- •Facilitating and unifying the duty payment such as utility bills, taxes, customs, traffic tickets, …etc for/to individuals, companies, organizations, institutions, or government by providing a single point of contact.
- •Supporting Central Bank of Yemen to achieve a highest level of transparency and the real-time control of all financial transfers, whether it is between individuals, groups, or institutions depending on the regulations and standards of the Central Bank of Yemen and the laws and global standards organization in regard.
